DLHC 3rd XI Match Report

The Third XI were at home to Ballymena 2nd XI on Saturday at 1pm.

Getting off to a strong start the girls were working well as a unit and making good runs and passes. This strong start resulted in a great goal by Ciara Murphy at the near post after some great play up the right hand side.

Unfortunately Ballymena broke as a result of Dromore’s attacking play and scored just on the mouth of half time.
The score then at half time was 1-1.

Into the second half Dromore again came out with gusto; finding players on the wings and making good attacking runs forward.

Alas they were unable to convert this pressure into goals and Ballymena were able to slip two past them. A good team performance which bodes well for future matches.
Final score 3-1 Ballymena.
